Amin Niazai
Founder and Director

Dr Amin Niazai is an environmental and sustainability professional with 10 years of experience across infrastructure sustainability, environmental assessment, climate risk, natural resource management and environmental governance. Based in Melbourne, Amin has worked across major infrastructure, government and international development programs, providing practical advice to manage environmental and climate risks and improve sustainability outcomes. He holds a PhD in Biodiversity Ecology and Climate Change Science and a Master of Natural Resource Management from Kyoto University, and is an Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professional. As Founder & Director of Green Transition Partner, Amin provides practical, evidence-based sustainability and environmental solutions that help organisations achieve better environmental, social and economic outcomes.
Mathiullah Kazmi
Senior Social Impact, Safeguards & Inclusion Specialist

Matiullah Kazmi is a Social Impact, Safeguards and Inclusion Specialist with over 15 years of experience in environmental and social risk management, social development, stakeholder engagement and inclusive programme delivery. He has direct experience with World Bank and ADB safeguard systems, including environmental and social assessment, resettlement, grievance management, labour standards, gender equality and social inclusion. He specialises in translating safeguard requirements into practical risk controls, capacity building and effective project outcomes. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Science.
Hamdullah Hamdard

Hamdullah Hamdard is a senior policy and international development professional with more than 20 years of leadership experience across Afghanistan and Australia. He specialises in sustainable development, environmental policy, climate resilience, rural development and strategic program management. He previously served as Deputy Minister / Director General of Agricultural Extension at Afghanistan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, providing national leadership on agricultural policy, institutional reform, sustainable development and internationally funded programs. Hamdard has worked with the United Nations, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, GIZ and government agencies. He brings extensive experience in policy development, program design and implementation, stakeholder engagement, climate-smart development and delivering practical sustainability outcomes.
Sayed Samiullah Hakimi
Technical Manager

Dr Sayed Samiullah Hakimi is an agricultural researcher and consultant with over 17 years of experience in sustainable horticulture, climate-smart agriculture, environmental sustainability, postharvest technology, and agrifood research across South Asia, the Middle East, and Australia. He previously served as Assistant Professor of Horticulture at Kabul University and Senior Agriculture Consultant with the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA). His expertise includes sustainability and environmental program assessment, climate-resilient agriculture, horticultural production, waste management and recycling, fruit and vegetable supply chains, project evaluation, baseline studies, grant development, and multidisciplinary research. He has authored or co-authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and technical reports. Based in Melbourne, Dr Hakimi works as a freelance consultant and casual Research Officer with Global Aid Insights Pty Ltd and volunteers with Werribee Park Heritage Orchard. His current work focuses on environmental and sustainability assessment, sustainable agriculture, and resilient food systems in the Australian context.
